Metamorphosis Composition

The goal of this assignment was to convey a narrative of a chosen piece of media through a Photoshop collage, learning the program in the process. I chose to recreate a scene from The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, in which human-sized bug Gregor has frightened his mother, a turning point in how his family sees him. I went for a distorted perspective, not only to fit the entire height of Gregor's room and him on the ceiling, but to help emulate the eeriness and surreal nature of the novella. This is also achieved by the muted, dingy tones I applied to the images.
